Insane! Got to the site and my six person tent just BARELY fit on the raised tent pad. I have also never paid $65 for one night of camping before. I have never encountered this anywhere before in my life. At check in I was told that I owed another $4.61 because their website doesn't calculate tax. I booked online from their own website and paid $60 for one adult and two children. We would probably have had a better time if we brought our camper instead. I told my husband, I would have rather of stayed in a nice hotel instead. I was expecting a little better stay considering we paid 140.00 to stay there. Or someone smoked in it and they tried covering up the smell. It was clean and had all the amenities in it, but it smelled like smoke. The cottage is the only reason I am rating the park average. She brought it to us and it was perfect size for the 3 of us and not expensive. We ordered pizza from the shack and it was great. I think the train ride should be free with the stay in the park. That was a nice feature of the park, they even discounted it because we weren't going to be using it long. The playground could use a little help, but our 2 year old didn't care! We did rent a golf cart for the day and we kept it throughout the night. They do have a pool and playground for kids, both very clean. The ladies at the front desk were VERY nice. I think maybe 5 other families were camping at the same time. We checked in at 3 on Sunday in September. We did a weekend trip to STL and with a 2 year old, a cabin seemed ideal.
